The Next 10 Years
Consultation has concluded
We are currently reviewing our 10-year plan of projects and activities, known as a Long Term Plan or LTP. This outlines the major projects the community would like Council to do over the next 10 years, and how we will pay for each project.
We’ve started to think about the things that we want to achieve for our district, and have come up with what we think are some of the key issues and priorities that we will need to consider as we start planning.
We’d like to know whether we are on the right track.

We need to think about how this will shape what we need to provide the community in years to come. For example, we might need to look at making sure public buildings are accessible for older people, or how the larger population might impact on our environment.

Keeping things affordable
