Hi Mary, thank you for your question. All we can do is encourage dog owners to do the right thing and pick up their dog's poo from public areas. There is signage in place and our dog rules state owners must carry a means of disposing of their dog's poo when they're walking their dogs in public.
Share Slip prevention - existing horizontal drains.
How do we know these drains will continue to be effective in the future.? Is there the potential for them to get clogged with clay particles or for the open ends of them to become covered in with clay when slip material falls and buries them? on FacebookShare Slip prevention - existing horizontal drains.

Thanks for your question Clare. Really there is no
guarantee the drains will not block or fail, for any number of reasons, which
is why we always say the drains help, but cannot be relied upon as a sole
solution.
In the meantime, where the drains exist above the rock
level, they are always monitored and maintained.
