Local Government Reform workshops
We are running a series of workshops giving people the chance to engage in meaningful kōrero with Councillors and Council staff on the current Government’s intention to reduce the number of councils across New Zealand, including through councils merging, and what it could mean for Western Bay of Plenty District Council.
Following a short presentation there will be a series of tables focusing on the possible reorganisation scenarios, and what matters most to you about how your community is represented. You'll have the opportunity to move around and spend equal time at each of the tables.
