What is Your Place Tō wāhi?

Nau maihaere mai!

Welcome to Your Place Tō wāhi

As the name suggests, this is your place.

Your place to share your voice with us, to mahi with us, and shape your future with us.

Your Place Tō wāhi is our commitment to building strong, meaningful connections with our community, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued. We believe that an open, honest, and ongoing kōrero helps shape a future that truly reflects the needs and aspirations of everyone in the Western Bay.

What is Your Place Tō wāhi?

Your Place Tō wāhi is a one-stop digital hub designed for you. It’s your place to connect, kōrero, and contribute to the shaping of your community.

Your input is vital to us. It helps us better understand what matters most to you and ensures that the services, facilities, and projects we deliver meet the evolving needs of your community. Every voice is important, and that’s why we’ve created Your Place Tō wāhi - a platform dedicated to hearing from as many people as possible across all corners of our rohe.

Why we created it?

We get that life is busy, and people often only want to connect with what matters most to them – their local community.

That’s why we’ve created Your Place Tō wāhi, where updates, projects, and news are localised to the places that mean the most to you. With this platform, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of what’s happening in your backyard, while giving you easy access to the conversations that shape your community’s future.

Your Community, Your Voice

We’ve broken the Western Bay into 12 unique communities – each with its own hub full of updates, events, and projects happening locally.
