Council will be publicly notifying a number of new Plan Changes in the second half of 2019. Before we notify these changes, we would like to get your views on the issues we are facing right now and what options we have for solving them.

Frost Protection Fans:
Changes are proposed to better provide for the operation of frost fans in rural areas, while still managing potential effects on surrounding neighbours. An option being considered is to allow frost fans without the need for resource consent if certain performance standards are met. Minor edits are also being proposed to make the rules easier to use.
