About the project
We're making some improvements to Tetley Road in Katikati. The rehabilitation project - which started in mid-February - will enhance safety, improve drainage and provide a better road surface.
The $1.3m project is part of our District-wide road rehabilitation programme and is funded by Council and the NZ Transport Agency.
J.Swap Contractors Limited will be carrying out the construction.
The work is expected to be complete by the end of August 2025.
Key upgrades include:
- Full pavement excavation and reconstruction
- Left turn bays for turning into Matuku Place and Friis Drive
- Kerbing and channels
- Drainage
- Reinstating driveways
