Help shape Te Puna's Community Plan
Thank you, the engagement on the draft Te Puna Community Plan has now concluded. The Te Puna Connectors are reviewing all the feedback and is working towards a final plan.
UPDATE:
- The Te Puna Community Plan has been finalised - Te Puna residents have launched a 10-year plan to guide the future direction of their community.
The Draft Te Puna Community Plan is currently out for feedback.
Engagement ends on Wednesday 22 November 2017.
Looking forward today for a strong and vibrant tomorrow:
Led by members of the community we like to call 'Connectors', the draft plan is designed for the community, by the community.
This draft plan seeks to offer the people of Te Puna:
- an insight in to the community aspirations and a roadmap as to how they may be achieved;
- an opportunity to test the concept and the framework for identifying, maintaining and protecting the area's 'rural character' from a community perspective;
- a guide to developing a strong community and to identify significant dates and events for the next 10 years; and
- the basis for ongoing relationships and co-created projects.
This draft plan also seeks to express, in a practical way, what the Te Puna community feels is important for the future and what key actions need to be undertaken to bring it about.
Please provide your comments and feedback on the following topics:
- the sections of the draft plan you are most interested in;
- the top five visions for the Te Puna community; and
- whether you would be willing to be involved in the implementation of the plan once it's finalised.
We're holding an “Open Day” where information and explanations will be provided about the draft plan:
Date - Saturday 11 November 2017
Time - 12noon to 2pm
Venue - Te Puna School Hall
See you there!
