Pukehina already has some fantastic community-led projects underway, driven by local passion and forward thinking.
The Pukehina Residents and Ratepayers Association (PRRA), with support from Council, is leading the next phase of community consultation. They're inviting your input on how the funds from the rate should be distributed among a range of existing community projects.
With the Pukehina Development Rate now repurposed as the Pukehina Development Fund (PDF), there is an opportunity to strengthen and support these projects that benefit the whole community.
Summary of existing projects in Pukehina.
Funding could be allocated in full, in part, or as a koha (donation) to the projects listed below. We’d love to hear your thoughts on these projects and how you think the funds should be distributed.
Your feedback will help shape which projects receive funding. Once the consultation closes and all feedback is reviewed, the funding allocation process will begin.
Project updates and funding decisions will be shared via the PRRA website pukehinabeach.co.nz and Facebook page, so keep an eye out as we move forward together.
