How will the wharf be funded?
Revenue from harvesting Council-owned pine trees on the island will go towards funding the building of the wharf. The balance will come from Council’s renewals budget.
How will islanders get to the mainland while it is being constructed?
To minimise disruptions, the existing wharf will remain in place and operational while the new one is built.
