My principal place of residence is in the Katikati-Waihī Beach General Ward area. I am also standing for Katikati Community Board.
A Katikati resident, Chair of Katikati Community Board, Katikati 150th Anniversary, and a Charitable Trust, I have focused on economic development and the environment and supported ratepayers. The 33% rate increase over the past 3 years has impacted the cost of living, residents' well-being and employment. They are a barrier to growth and employment.
Active in community groups, made submissions on rate and financial contribution increases. I will work to control rate increases and focus on the essentials, protect the environment, and making Katikati attractive for families.
The Community Board opposed Council's proposed amalgamation with Waihi Beach - Katikati Community Board remains independent. There are significant changes in the next 3 years. I have held senior roles in capital-intensive industries, run my own business, focusing on leadership, productivity, and change management. With this experience I feel capable of addressing the challenges. Let’s make it together.

My principal place of residence is in the Katikati-Waihī Beach General Ward area.
I am Andy Earl and it’s my time to put my name forward, for Councillor with WBDC. I have just done 3 years on the KK Community Board & would like to have more say for our community’s future growth & development.
Born and raised in Katikati. Lived in & around the BOP including Rotorua for 16 years. Moved back to Katikati to help on the farm. I’ve been back 7 years, with my darling, who is doing well at College.
I bring a combination of local knowledge, community leadership. I want growth, but I am both conservative and pragmatic.
We’ve got unique challenges and loads of opportunities within our rohe, or district. I want the town to grow sustainably, while still protecting & promoting our beautiful surroundings.
I want a resilient & thriving future for all Katikati’s cultures!
Vote for me so I can work hard for you!

My principal place of residence is in the Katikati-Waihī Beach General Ward area. I am also standing for Mayor.
Our Council faces substantial change over the next three years. With the right leadership it will emerge streamlined and focused on the needs of residents and ratepayers.
The impending separation of our waters assets must lead to lower costs or you face paying a lot more, through both increased waters charges and higher rates.
Quite simply, business as usual is not sustainable.
My family and I love the Western Bay, from our district’s stunning beaches, rivers and harbours to its beautiful bush trails and economically important rural sector. We have strong, vibrant communities.
Council can only sustainably care for our residents and these local treasures by efficiently delivering core services.
Using my experience in business, I have consistently fought for lower costs and greater efficiency at Council over the past three years. With your support, I will keep fighting for a focused Council that serves you.

My principal place of residence is in the Katikati-Waihī Beach General Ward area.
As your current ward councillor, I ask for your support to continue working for a safer, healthier, happier, and stronger community. With a background in business and years of governance experience, I bring practical knowledge and a people-first approach. I’m active across many community organisations and always available to listen, working hard to ensure your voice is heard, regardless of my personal views.
I strongly support key projects like the Athenree Crossing, Katikati bypass, post-harvest development, and planning that supports age and disability-friendly communities. I advocate for balanced urban–rural growth, smarter regulation, and making life easier for both residents and businesses.
In Council, I push for better governance, prioritising essential services before extras, with tighter control over spending and debt - always focused on delivering value for ratepayers.
I believe in unity, not division, and do not support Māori Wards. We can achieve more together - one community, one voice.

Bringing our communities together
My principal place of residence is in the Katikati-Waihī Beach General Ward area. I am also standing for Waihī Beach Community Board.
I am standing for both the Council and Waihi Beach Community Board.
My commitment to you is to always do what is right and never have hidden agendas.
A strong belief in bringing people together is why I initially joined the Community Board.
To that end it has been a pleasure to see our Community Board develop a stronger relationship with our Council staff.
27 years with the police encompassed a huge variety of experiences, and I want to put those experiences into use to benefit us all.
There’s a reason we have two ears and only one mouth.
I will always listen to what you have to say.
I focus on solutions, not criticisms, those solutions coming from working in harmony with our communities and council in a respectful way.

My principal place of residence is in the Katikati-Waihī Beach General Ward area. I am also standing for Katikati Community Board.
Whānau, Tāmariki me nga Hapori Katoa, He taonga.
Families, children, and community are treasures. I stand by this because without the strength and protection of all 3, we lose.
I hold close tikanga Māori, justice, and service, principles that guide my decisions.
If I am elected Kaikaunihera to represent our hapori, I promise to truly hear the voices of hapu, rangatira, whānau, iwi, and the entire community. To carefully consider the ideas, needs, grievances, and aspirations of the people and to ensure their unique perspectives are not only valued but acted upon.
I am committed to securing stable support for vital services, ensuring that health, opportunities, and essential help reach whānau who are most in need. I will show dedication to improving conditions within our wāhi, addressing the systematic issues that affect everyone.
