Overview

Our reserves are more than just green spaces - they hold cultural significance, provide for recreation, and connect communities to nature.

This review ensures our reserves meet the needs of our local communities, Tangata Whenua, and the environment while guiding how we care for, improve, and develop these spaces in the future.

The proposed updates include new concept plans, additional reserves, updated inventory items, aerial images, and a refreshed format. You can review the proposed changes in more detail in the Kaimai Ward Reserve management Plan 2025 - Consultation document

Your input is vital in shaping the future of our reserves. Let us know your thoughts on the proposed changes and share any additional ideas you have.
